Ayala Grocery was my grandfather's store and even though it has been closed for over 20 years, it has served as a constant beacon, inspiring a series of videos and now growing into this website. I guess it's my way of taking ownership of the family legacy and of showcasing a good portion of my work, which has the eclecticism of a grocery store at times-but not the randomness. All the work here reflects my personal interest, I'm very proud of the projects featured here and I feel extremely lucky to have worked with the creative teams and individuals involved in these projects. To see screeners of any of the work in its entirety, please write and request.

Born in Dallas, Texas, I attended film school at the University of Texas in Austin, during this time I wrote and performed for many local theater companies. I moved to New York in 2000 and began working in film.

In 2012 I edited the short documentary Innovation Driving America which won a Cine Golden Eagle and inĀ 2014, the Military Kids Connect Series I edited for CACI won the TIVA Peer Award.

I have worked as an Editor for the last ten years and have cut everything from music videos to politcal spots. In addition, I have produced, directed and edited films that have shown at the Sundance Film Festival, Telluride, IFC Center, Havana Film Festival, New York International Latino Film Festival, Bicycle Film Festival, and Rooftop Films.
